Welcome!

In my years of public service, both as a Marine and as a prosecutor, I have found there truly is no higher honor than serving a cause greater than oneself.  My vision of public service is that it is not about the name you make for yourself, but the difference you make in the lives of others.  I will bring this vision to the Virginia Senate on behalf of the citizens of the 22nd Senate District of Virginia.

Every one of us living in this beautiful part of the Commonwealth depends upon our elected officials to decide some of the most important questions impacting our society and our families.  We need true conservative leaders who will work to preserve family values! And we need true conservative leaders who will achieve real and lasting solutions to the enormous economic and other challenges we face!

The recession has been a harsh reminder for many Virginians that excessive government spending, a cycle of poverty and dependence upon government programs, and an anti-business climate can weaken the very foundation of freedom and entrepreneurship upon which this great country and great Commonwealth were built. We must fight back together.

I believe in low taxes, reducing the size and scope of government, and capitalizing upon the strengths of our community in Central Virginia in order to create jobs in the region.  Along with other strong conservative voices in the Executive Mansion, the Lieutenant Governor’s Office, the Attorney General’s Office, the House of Delegates, the Senate, and local governments, I will work to reduce unnecessary roadblocks to economic development in Central Virginia while fiercely guarding the essential character, beauty, and integrity of our communities.

As your Senator, I truly believe that together we can and will meet the challenges we face head-on to ensure a brighter future for all of our children.  Our best days are ahead of us.
